Conner's first solo prayer

So today Conner insisted on saying the family prayer all by himself. He started out by having me repeat everything he said, everything was a little muffled because he is a lot like mom where he likes to kneel down and put his face into a pillow or into the ground (I am 29 years old and I still have not grown out of that). Anyways he started out normal saying, "Heavenly Father, bless us today," and so on then he went on to say (and let me remind you, I am repeating everything) "bless me that I can get a present" he looked up at me and made me repeat it and made sure that I heard what he said. Right after the prayer was done he finished with Amen and jumped up and said, "okay where is my present?" I had to explain to him that prayers were not for making wishes.
