Naggy wife

I promised myself when Dillan and I got married that I would be the cool wife who didn't bug my husband about the small things. I'm sure I soon broke my promise. Conner is very good at humbling his parents. The other day when we were driving in the car Dillan and I were having a discussion (we weren't even arguing or anything just talking) I was repeating something that someone had said and my voice came off a little gruff. Conner quickly chimed in, "Mommy don't be mad at daddy." We quickly tried to explain that I wasn't mad, but he insisted that I shouldn't be mad at Dillan. Well that was a big wake up call, although Dillan and I, or I should say Dillan hardly ever raise our voices it made me realize that maybe I need to stop and think before I nag Dillan about the small things. If my child thinks that every time we talk I am irriated then maybe I need to be a little bit more cool about things. I mean there is only so much he can do, he is a man you know. Just teasing I truly am blessed to have such a patient husband.

Good perspective. My kids have done stuff like that many times. It's good to be able to see the world through a child's eyes as much as we can.
