Conner's first day of swimming lessons was today. He loved it. He had a little trouble not splashing the teacher but other than that he is a natural. We even had a little test run in the baby pool when he went a little too deep and had to doggy paddle to stay afloat (he wasn't wearing a life jacket, and it was after swimming lessons). They played a fun little game with a hula hoop at the end and practice putting their faces in the water and blowing bubbles and then the teacher pretended that the hula hoop was a pizza and asked each kid what they liked on their pizza. The little girls answered pineapple and Conner answered "Marshmallows." I promise we never put marshmallows on his pizza. It was a fun day for him, I think he'll enjoy going back next tuesday for his next swimming lesson.
